Returns Information

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order within a period of 7 working days. The period of 7 working days begins on the day after the day you receive your goods.

When returning goods, please ensure they are in their original condition, unused and in suitable packaging to avoid damage during transportation.  Please note that if you change your mind about an item the initial postage and packing charge, and any further costs incurred in returning the item, are non-refundable.  If you return goods to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit and we recommend that you use a recorded or secure delivery method. If goods are lost or damaged in transit, we may charge you, or not refund to you, amounts that are attributable to the loss or damage.

If returning an item, please send (together with your delivery note which is required as proof of purchase) to:

You will be informed by email once the parcel has been received by us and confirmation that your payment has been refunded.  We will either refund using your original method of payment or send a replacement within 48 hours of notification.  We will require the item in question to be returned to us before refunding or sending out a replacement.

Please note that products purchased online can be exchanged or refunded at our stores in Sherborne or Dorchester. Please note that we will be unable to refund onto a PAYPAL account. A PAYPAL acount will need to be refunded from our Mail Order Dept. only. 

For reasons of health and hygiene, we apologise but are unable to exchange or refund the following products:

  • Pierced earrings unless faulty.
  • Hosiery unless faulty.
  • Hats and hair accessories unless faulty.

THIS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS RELATING TO FAULTY OR MIS-DESCRIBED GOODS OR YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL ORDERS UNDER THE CONSUMER PROTECTION (DISTANCE SELLING) REGULATIONS, FURTHER DETAILS OF WHICH ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE LOCAL TRADING STANDARD DEPARTMENT OR CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU
