Oska Clothing only allow a small number of independent retailers to stock their wonderful garment collections. Melbury Gallery is delighted to be one of Oska's chosen independent retailers in Dorset. The Autumn/Winter 2016 collection is now in store.

Oska is renowned for it's quality of fabric, for the innovative cut of the fabric and the timeless inspiration in Design.

Discover easy-to-wear shapes in comfortable fabrics from Ralston, the creation of Swedish designer Linda Ralston Ooms. Known for having a strong yet versatile aesthetic, featuring innovative prints and intricate cuts; this Scandi-chic brand will add a stylish statement to your wardrobe.



Orientique, is an Australian fashion label synonymous with exclusive artistic prints, beautiful natural fabrics and good quality. Each print is unique and exclusive to the brand, most of which are hand paintings or drawings inspired by wonderful destinations around the world. Think Italian towns, the French riviera and st. Tropez beaches to name but a few, that are then developed into digital art. All of these beautiful designs are screened-printed by hand with artisans cutting individual screens for each and every colour in every print. A true labour of love! Specialising in natural fabrics, their “plant to garment” philosophy means that the cotton, linen and rayon used has been carefully selected from some of the worlds finest mills and woven specifically for the Orientique production where specifications such as weight and thread count are carefully considered.

Combining beads and soft tassels with jagged surfaces; matte textures with shiny metals, Ayala Bar jewellery is unique and her designs are very different and unexpected. They incorporate materials in unconventional ways - metals with fabrics, beads, plaster, wood and different findings.

One of our most popular brands, Sahara is renowned for a unique, bohemian chic aesthetic that has evolved out of endless travels around the world in search of new experiences and ideas. Sahara Clothes have a unique and individual style and is designed in the UK by a talented collective of British Designers.

Sahara make clothes for the individual, not the crowd. Their collections remain an antidote to the ‘fast fashion’ culture of the high street, with each piece carefully hand-created using the most luxurious natural fabrics and traditional textiles.  



Thought is a natural clothing company born in Australia, now in London.

Thought have a simple philosophy, to design beautiful, timeless fashion whilst caring for our environment using naturally grown bamboo, cotton, wool and hemp are special. These fabrics are not only free from harmful pesticides and chemicals, they're often softer, stronger and far kinder to the environment. That’s why Thought only use these fabrics to craft their clothing, only ever getting them from responsible sources.

Two recent additions to their fabrics are tencel and modal. We love these for their sustainability credentials and how good they feel to wear.



Established in 2009, FOIL is designed and developed in New Zealand, collaborating with local and international artists to create bespoke printed fabrics. Their aim is to bring you beautiful designs that stand the test of time and let your style shine through! With a focus on innovative design, premium fabrics and craftsmanship they believe it’s the finer details that count. Using a combination of natural and innovative, planet-friendly synthetic fibres, means that their garments are made to last and are intended to be worn season after season!

Melbury Gallery is delighted to have been an Adini Stockist for over 30 years.

The Adini story began back in the early seventies and the beginning of bohemian, hippy fashion; when one man started manufacturing in Delhi and sent brightly coloured kaftans, smocked dresses and gypsy blouses to London. From the heady days of the 70’s, the iconic 80’s, and ups and downs of the 90’s and millennium, Adini has evolved to be one of the most successful British boutique brands in the UK, with an ethos and a creative drive that is as strong today as it was at its inception.

Adini clothes are individual, fun, feminine, and easy to wear.



Nila Rubia is a label rooted in the Mughal tradition, creating pieces expertly hand crafted in family run workshops in India. Ancient techniques are kept alive by an inspiring community of colour masters, wooden block carvers, dyers and tailors.

As a label using ‘treasured skills’ they create jobs in rural areas of Jaipur (India), where work is often scarce. They advocate fair wages, working conditions and freedom of choice and are also developing ‘self-supporting initiatives’ for women and girls. Principals that we agree with wholeheartedly at Melbury Gallery.

Established in London in 1999 and launching many new soft toy designs every January and July, there is always something original and quirky yet incredibly soft and sumptuous to find at a Jellycat jamboree! Irresistibly cuddly, sophisticatedly silly, hilariously humorous, a perfect gift for all ages!

Mama b is one of our most popular brands, and if you've ever tried some on you will understand why!

Made from the softest jerseys and fleeces they are wonderful to wear, with fluid and flattering shapes. 

All Mama b garments are designed and made entirely in Italy and their fabrics are also produced in Italy.

Masai Clothing is a Danish brand offering quirky, fun and fluid clothing with individual styling. Fantastic prints and co-ordinating plains to flatter all shapes and sizes and designed for comfort and ease.



Founded in 2003 by Royal College of Art graduates, Bl^nk is still run by the same husband and wife duo today. The company has evolved into a global brand with it's own vertically integrated atelier, meaning that they have strived to bring all processes in-house to have better control over manufacture and the creative vision. The result is a luxe bohemian aesthetic that is unique to the brand, exceptional quality upheld by the skills and know-how of their makers and cutting edge tools. Bl^nk proudly goes above and beyond to choose fair, responsible and sustainable practices for their company right down to every thread and every artisan worker.
